Referrals
Your doctor may refer you to a hospital for further treatment. Our referral letters usually leave the Surgery within a few days of your consultation.
If you have any queries regarding your hospital appointment you should ring and ask for the speciality and hospital to which you have been referred. They will be able to give you details of your appointment including waiting times.

Cardiology ADULTS = 3-4 months

Gastroenterology = 15 months for routine referrals – 3-6 months for urgent referrals
Hepatology = 12- 15 months
Sleep clinic = 12 months
Pain Management = 3-4 months
Vascular= 17-18 months
Spirometry = 5 months
Neurology = 6 months
Colorectal = 17 months routine, 2 months urgent
24 hour blood pressure = 4 months
Maxillofacial = 12-14 months
ADHD = 29 months
Community Paediatrics = 18 months
